New Principal @ BCS...

BCS - Building a Firm Foundation

The Board of Directors of Brampton Christian School are pleased to announce that a new Principal has been selected to replace Mr. Andrews who will be retiring at the end of the current school year.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Brampton Christian School it is my honour and privilege to announce that Mr. Alex Abdulnour has been appointed as the new principal of BCS, commencing August 1, 2010. Alex comes with a wealth of teaching and administrative experience, and has been a part of the BCS family for the past 3 years, serving in the junior and senior high divisions.

A great deal of time and prayer has gone into this selection process, and we are so thankful for your support and patience during this period. In Mark 12:30-31, Jesus said to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength...and to love your neighbour as yourself.” We are confident that Mr. Abdulnour will lead BCS in a way that maintains our strong emphasis on academic excellence based on our focus to honour God with all we have.

Mr. Abdulnour will continue with his commitment to the students he is presently teaching for the remainder of this year. This is of paramount importance to him! He will also begin to assume some responsibility in casting vision for the preferred future of BCS, in cooperation with Mr. Ralph Andrews. At the Open House - Music & Arts Evening @ BCS this coming Thursday, May 6 (7-9 PM) there will be a “meet & greet” our new principal. Please come and get to know him.

God bless,

Jamie Stewart, Chair - Board of Directors

Dear BCS Community,

It is with a great sense of ministerial privilege and professional call that I accept the responsibility of principal of Brampton Christian School.

As we consider the 33-year presence of BCS in Brampton as a lighthouse of God's love, firmly founded on His word, and as we consider the bricks of academic excellence firmly fitted together by the mortar of our committed and competent staff's care and professionalism, it is my desire to:

  • facilitate effective relationships among staff and stakeholders;
  • contribute to increased enrolment;
  • sustain partnerships for development-based fundraising;
  • develop teacher capacity through collaborative planning and professional development;
  • implement and innovate academic and non-academic services;
  • model effective evangelism and discipleship with genuine love, inspiration and power.

It is without question that together we will live out our genuine, God-given love for the people and work in our school community, and lead a legacy of academic innovation and spiritual distinction.

Working Together,

Alex Abdulnour, Principal Incumbent
